Final Words !

Earlier in the post, I had promised to provide a trick to use internet efficiently. I know most of you already knew this but for the ones who didnt know about it, I am going to say it right now.

You just need to have a Ethernet cable for this. Just plug your Ethernet cable in the internet line in your room and  plug it into your laptop. After this, disable your WiFi and start using the LAN networking. This will make your internet fast. But remember, If everyone in the MOJO hall uses this method then it will again get slow. So, the best idea is to request the college to provide with the faster internet facility. 

Or, you can transfer to other colleges where there is fast internet access.

Solution !

What can be the solution for this problem? 

Well, I think the reason behind slow internet speed is the college itself. I don't know whether college does not know about this problem or they are not acting accordingly. If they really don't know about it then one of us must let them know about it. All the students in MOJO must unite and formally ask the college authorities to provide efficient internet speed. Or they can just try to figure out the reason behind it and solve it. 

I think that is the only one way we can solve this problem. I don't think I can come up with any other solution beside this. Other solution can be to reduce the number of students in MOJO but that is not practical at all. Reducing the number of students for fast internet connection; that would be really funny. Isn't it?

At last, I have got one way to speed up your internet connection. It is 100% guaranteed. However, you will have to wait for my next post to know the way.

3rd Post !

So,
Here it comes, My third post. I had tried to post my new post today morning but my blogspot just opened due to the internet speed. I am noticing that since I started writing on this blog, the internet has gone slower. I don't know whether this is some kind of coincidence or what.
I am also starting to feel that I am not the only one who is frustrated by the internet speed. Some are not being able to play games, some are not being able to watch their favorite TV shows and some are simply having irritation due to the speed. Similarly, the poll I have posted in this blog is also showing that almost 66% of the students here feels that the internet here simply sucks.
So, what can be the solution for this problem. Are we going to spend our four years of college using this retard internet? For a solution to this blog, just wait for my next blog !

Now, I have the real evidence of slowness of internet in our college. This youtube video is a 9 secs long video. However, when I tried to watch this video, it took more than 30 secs. I have video captured my laptop screen and posted the video above.

I missed the Euros final draw !

Hello everyone!

As I am typing this blog, I am trying to watch the live stream of Euro 2012 football championships final draw. Yes, its  FOOTBALL, not soccer.  I have already tried more than 5 links but none of them are as smooth as I want them to be. Every few seconds and while, they stop streaming. Is it the internet speed? Of course, it is. I wish this event was during the weekends. I could have watched them without any disturbance. Cause, the internet traffic would be light during the weekends. In my country, internet is not that lightning fast. Its much slower than here. However, when I was back in my country, I was at least expecting to watch a live event here in USA without any disturbance. I used to think that the internet here would be lightning fast but sadly.....

Is it only the internet in Caldwell college or its same everywhere? I guess its only in the college; not even in the whole college. I think its only in Mother Josephs Residence hall cause whenever I've tried using internet in the labs, everything is surprisingly smooth.

Wait ! I think the draw has started. I will be back in few minutes.

This internet connection seriously sucks. I had waited for this event since my supporting team had qualified for the Euros and in the end I could not watch. This is all because of internet connection here at Caldwell college. Now, the only option I have left is to go through some football sites and read the news. I hope the football sites wont take much time to load but I doubt.
