Hello everyone!
As I am typing this blog, I am trying to watch the live stream of Euro 2012 football championships final draw. Yes, its FOOTBALL, not soccer. I have already tried more than 5 links but none of them are as smooth as I want them to be. Every few seconds and while, they stop streaming. Is it the internet speed? Of course, it is. I wish this event was during the weekends. I could have watched them without any disturbance. Cause, the internet traffic would be light during the weekends. In my country, internet is not that lightning fast. Its much slower than here. However, when I was back in my country, I was at least expecting to watch a live event here in USA without any disturbance. I used to think that the internet here would be lightning fast but sadly.....
Is it only the internet in Caldwell college or its same everywhere? I guess its only in the college; not even in the whole college. I think its only in Mother Josephs Residence hall cause whenever I've tried using internet in the labs, everything is surprisingly smooth.
Wait ! I think the draw has started. I will be back in few minutes.
This internet connection seriously sucks. I had waited for this event since my supporting team had qualified for the Euros and in the end I could not watch. This is all because of internet connection here at Caldwell college. Now, the only option I have left is to go through some football sites and read the news. I hope the football sites wont take much time to load but I doubt.

yah..It's much slower than we had expected. And it always happens when we need a quick connection the most.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand how slow the internet connection is! Especially in Mojo. Since we don't get all the television channels I have to watch my shows on my laptop but it takes forever because it buffers every few minutes.
ReplyDeleteI am one of the biggest Euro cup fans and so i know how you feel! it must've sucked! it really is ridiculous how slow the internet connection is in mojo! I think this problem is happening on every college campus too because i hear a lot of my other friends complaining about how slow the internet is in their colleges too!
ReplyDeleteNo it's just this college. I don't know what they've got here, but it's really slow. At home we have DSL, which is fine, but they are now installing FiOS, which is fibre optic cables that have incredible speeds. My sister has FiOS and they never sit and wait for something to load, it's awesome! :D
ReplyDeleteDude, I know what you're talking about! The internet is so slow that it should not even be called internet. It should be called slownet! Last night, it took about 15 seconds to open google.com That's like even slower than in Nepal! Is it so hard to get a good internet connection, even in America!?
